The Forestdale Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a volunteer group of families and staff working together to support our students and school community. We work together to enrich the school experience by funding programs, organizing events, and creating opportunities for families to connect.

Fundraising

Our PTO organizes various fundraisers throughout the year. The fundraisers support teacher/classroom needs, library materials, field trips, events and so much more. Below are few examples of types of fundraisers throughout the year.

Annual Fundraisers

  • Rock the Walk – Our biggest fundraiser of the year! Students walk laps to raise money for school programs.

  • Pie & Cookie Dough Sale – Just in time for the holidays, order delicious treats while supporting our school.

  • Spirit Wear Sales – Show your Forestdale pride with t-shirts, sweatshirts, and more!

  • Scholastic Book Fair - Encourage a love for reading while raising funds for our library.

Ongoing Fundraisers

  • Box Tops for Education – Scan your receipts and earn cash for our school.

  • Textile Recycling Bin - donate clothes in the textile bins and proceeds earned are given directly to our school.

How You Can Get Involved

Our PTO runs on the support of families like YOU! Whether you can give an hour, a day, or ongoing help, every effort makes a difference.

Here are some ways to get involved:

  • Volunteer at events like Family Friday, Book Fair, Field Day, or the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon.
  • Share your skills—whether it’s designing flyers, organizing activities, or lending a hand behind the scenes.
  • Participate in Family Friday events, fundraisers, and encourage friends and family to join in.

Together, we can make Forestdale the best it can be for our students, teachers, and families!
